Postavitev spletne predstavitve podjetja v okolju WordPress

V diplomskem delu predstavljam sistem za upravljanje z vsebinami in izdelavo spletnih strani WordPress, ter izdelavo celovite spletne predstavitve podjetja z uporabo tega sistema. Najprej opišem tri najbolj popularne platforme za izdelovanje spletnih strani. Podrobno opišem vsako platformo in jih glede na prednosti in slabosti primerjam z drugimi. Nato opisujem postopek namestitve platforme WordPress in bralca seznanim ter mu praktično predstavim osnovne funkcije sistema. Sledi predstavitev tem in vtičnikov, ki so ključnega pomena, če želimo izdelati unikatno spletno stran. Poleg predstavitve vtičnikov prikažem tudi njihovo praktično rabo na spletni strani. V zaključku bralca seznanim z možnostjo integriranja spletne trgovine na spletno stran in predstavim, kako se jo uporablja in ureja. Opišem tudi postopek optimizacije, ki je zelo pomembna, če želimo obiskati spletno stran. Ta postopek navadno opravimo, ko je sama spletna stran že izdelana in objavljena na svetovnem spletu.

• Title: E-Commerce web portal development using WordPress

Abstract

This thesis describes a procedure of web portal developement using WordPress Content Management System. The installation of Wordpress on a remote server is presented, as well as description and selection of plugins and themes. The first part describes web content management systems and compares the advantages of the three most well-known CMS. In the following I present a detailed description of the Wordpress platform, which I have chosen to build a company web site. I describe the plug-ins and themes which provide the required functionalities of the web site, including the e-commerce plugin. I describe the advanced features of payable Salient theme, which enables us to produce websites with extremely advanced visual image, in a very simple way. Finally, a description of a web site optimization for the search engines is given.
