Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava teoretični in praktični vidik izračuna in izdelave modela enostavne Peltonove turbine z generatorjem s trajnimi magneti. Z modelom pokažemo osnovni princip pretvorbe kinetične energije vode v električno energijo. V diplomskem delu smo podali podrobna navodila za izdelavo modela, ki smo ga v laboratoriju preizkusili z vodno črpalko in z osciloskopom izmerili inducirane napetosti na sponkah generatorja s trajnimi magneti. Izkoristek modela smo primerjali z malo hidroelektrarno Zadlaščica. Na ta način smo skušali podati teoretične osnove delovanja hidroelektrarn, ki so osnova za razumevanje osnovnega delovanja hidroelektrarne s Peltonovo turbino.

Building a Demonstration Model of Pelton Turbine with a Generator
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on theoretical and practical aspects of the calculation and modelling of a simple Pelton turbine and a generator whit permanent magnets. The model shows the basic principle of converting kinetic energy of water to electric energy. The thesis presents detailed instructions on how to build the whole model whose behaviour was examined by using a water pump. With an oscilloscope the induced voltage is measured on the connection point of a generator whit permanent magnets. Our model is compared whit a small hydroelectric power plant Zadlaščica in order to present the theoretical basis of an operating principles of hydroelectric power plants.
