Abstract
Diplomsko delo z naslovom Preverjanje razumevanja koncepta tiska/knjige v skupini 5–6 let starih otrok v Otroškem vrtcu Metlika sestoji iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. Teoretični del obsega pet poglavij, v katerih sem opredelila pojme: pismenost, vrste pismenosti, razumevanje koncepta tiska, bralna pismenost, družinska pismenost, književna vzgoja v vrtcu. Namen diplomskega dela je bil ugotoviti razumevanje koncepta/tiska knjige v skupini otrok, starih od 5 do 6 let. To sem ugotavljala s pomočjo ček liste ter v empiričnem delu rezultate prikazala s tabelo in jih interpretirala.

Title:Assessing the understanding of the book/printing concept in a group of 5- to 6-year-old children in the Metlika nursery school
Abstract:
The diploma thesis entitled Assessing the understanding of the book/printing concept in a group of 5- to 6-year-old children in the Metlika Nursery School consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part comprises five sections defining the following concepts: literacy, types of literacy, understanding the printing concept, reading literacy, family literacy, literary education in nursery school. The aim of the thesis is to assess the understanding of the book/printing concept in a group of 5- to 6-year-old children, which is established by means of a checklist. The empirical part includes the interpretation of the results presented in a table.
