Likovni vidik lutke in lutkovnega gledališča

To diplomsko delo govori o lutkarstvu, natančneje o likovni govorici lutk in lutkovnega gledališča. Raziskuje to edinstveno umetnost, njene specifike ter izrazne možnosti. Posveča se komponentam lutkovnega gledališča, ki nosijo vizualno informacijo in vplivajo na končno likovno podobo lutkovne uprizoritve. Praktičen del diplomskega dela govori o nastanku lutk in procesu zasnove scene na podlagi zgodbe Čudoviti lisjak Roalda Dahla. Opisuje razvoj likovne podobe in proces izdelave lutk, od zasnove do končnega izdelka. Pedagoški del nadaljuje glavne teme teoretičnega in praktičnega raziskovanja z opisom delavnice izdelave lutk, namenjene otrokom in mladostnikom na poletnem mladinskem taboru.

• Title: Visual art of puppets and puppet theatre

Abstract

This thesis is about puppetry, more precisely about the artistic language of puppets and puppet theatre. It examines this unique art, its particularities and expressive possibilities. The thesis is dedicated to the study of components of puppet theatre that carry the visual information and its influence on the visual design of the puppet play. Its practical part describes the process of designing and creating the puppets and scenery, based on the story Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl. It illustrates the development of the artistic image and puppets from the concept to the final product. The education – research part of this thesis builds upon the main theme of theoretical and practical research and focuses on the practical engagement of children and youth with creating puppets at the summer youth camp puppet workshop.
