Abstract
Obsežno območje velikih naklonov in neenakomerna porazdelitev padavin v Sloveniji imata za posledico velik delež vodotokov, ki imajo hudourniški značaj. Tako se vsak dan srečujemo in skušamo odpraviti težave, ki jih v grajeno okolje prinašajo hudourniki. Standardne enačbe za vodotoke z manjšimi padci na katerih slonijo tudi računalniški programi za modeliranje vodotokov pa na takih območjih pogosto ne dajejo pravilnih rezultatov. V diplomski nalogi je obdelana problematika hidravlike strmih strug pri uporabi klasičnih hidravličnih enačb in matematičnih hidravličnih modelov kot je npr. Hec-Ras. Na konkretnem izbranem odseku Hotoveljščice je v praktičnem delu naloge opravljen pregled stanja struge in analiza hidravličnih in erozijskih procesov. Predlagana je tudi idejna zasnova protipoplavne ureditve izbranega odseka struge.

Title:Analysis of hydraulic conditions in steep river channel on the case of Hotoveljščica torrent : graduation thesis
Abstract:
Extensive areas of steep slopes and uneven distribution of precipitation in Slovenia result in a great number of watercourses which have torrential characteristics. That is why we are on a daily basis encountering and trying to deal with problems which torrents are bringing into built environment. Computer programs used for modeling of watercourses are based on standard equations for analysing hydraulic conditions in lowland watercourses; they might not give correct results in steep torriental watercourses. This graduation thesis focuses on the issue of hydraulics of steep stream channels and the limitations when using classic hydraulic equations and mathematical hydraulic models, such as Hec-Ras. In the practical part, a specific section of the Hotoveljščica torrent is examined in terms of river-bed and hydraulic conditions additionaly, erosion processes are analyzed. An outline plan for flood protection measures ate the analyzed section of the Hotoveljščica torrent is proposed.
