Abstract
Diplomsko delo predstavlja uporabo lutkovne dejavnosti v okviru četrtnega mladinskega centra. V teoretičnem delu sem predstavila delovanje četrtnih mladinskih centrov v Ljubljani in otroke ter mladostnike, ki centre pogosto obiskujejo. Glede na strukturo obiskovalcev četrtnih mladinskih centrov sem se posebej osredotočila na ranljive družbene skupine otrok ter mladostnikov ter opredelile dejavnike ranljivosti. Opredelila sem vlogo lutke pri delu z otroki in mladostniki in se pri tem prav tako osredotočila na vlogo lutke pri delu z ranljivimi otroki in mladostniki. Izpostavila sem lutko kot kreativni medij, ki jo lahko vpeljemo v delo v četrtnem mladinskem centru in na dejavnosti, ki jih lahko z lutko izpeljemo. V empiričnem delu sem z uporabo kvalitativnega pristopa raziskovanja ter akcijsko metodo raziskovala vpeljavo lutkovne dejavnosti v četrtni mladinski center, pri čemer sem iskala značilnosti procesa uporabe lutke in njen pomen za otroke ter mladostnike. Posebej sem bila pozorna na pomen, ki ga ima lutka za ranljive posameznike ter iskala morebitne razlike v sprejemanju ter doživljanje lutke pri otrocih in mladostnikih, ki so zaradi različnih okoliščin bolj ranljivi od svojih vrstnikov.

Title:Use of puppet activity in frame of district youth center
Abstract:
The following thesis presents the use of puppet activity in frame of district youth center. The theoretical part of this thesis presents the work of district youth centers in Ljubljana and the population of children and adolescents that are regular visitors of these centers. The thesis focuses on vulnerable children and adolescents and defines factors of vulnerability, since many children and adolescents from district youth centers have trouble dealing with their vulnerability. Furthermore, the thesis defines the role of the puppet when it is used in working with children. Moreover, the focus of this thesis is on the role of the puppet when it is used in working with vulnerable children and adolescents. In this thesis, the puppet is highlighted as a creative media, which one can incorporate in the work of a youth worker in a district youth center. With the qualitative research and action research methodology, the empirical part of this thesis researches the use of puppet activity in a district youth center. Therefore, the characteristics of the process of the puppet’s use and the puppet’s meaning for the children and adolescents were highlighted. In addition, the thesis focuses on the influence of the puppet activity when working with vulnerable children and adolescents. The thesis also focuses on possible differences on how children and adolescents accept and experience the puppet differently as their peers, as they are more vulnerable due to adverse circumstances.
