This thesis demonstrates the SCADA control system and its production. I participated as a control system programmer in the project. In the thesis, I will present the production of a SIMATIC WINCC v7.2 control system. The goal was to create a wastewater treatment plant supervisory control system, which would be quick and easy to use, while being as transparent as possible. This was done with future users in mind, so they would adapt to the new system quickly and with ease. The biggest priority was creating a supervisory control system that offers an excellent oversight of the entire process.
In the first segment of the thesis I explained the theory behind the wastewater treatment plant, the history of the supervisory control system and its computer implementation, control of the wastewater treatment plant and the technological scheme.
The second segment covers the production of the supervisory control system. First of all, all system elements had to be created and tested in order to check if their status feedback is working correctly. I described the used elements, their system functionality and the functionality of each treatment plant assembly.
