Abstract
Temu sledi še analiza izotropnih in anizotropnih prevodno-dielektričnih struktur.

Title:Application of a finite-difference method in an (an)isotropic media
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the analysis of certain electro technical 2D structures using finite differences (FDM). Attention is focused on the calculations of potential, as well as electric and current fields in conductive and conductive-dielectric structures, where these may also be inhomogeneous or anisotropic. Simplicity and close connection with the concept of electric circuits makes the method instructive and helpful for better understanding the individual electro technical issues. In the beginning the fundamentals of finite differences are cowered, to thereby derive differential equations necessary for calculating the electric potential, electric field strength and current density, followed by a presentation of procedure for calculating the electrical resistance, joule losses admitance and other parameters specific for each structure. The thesis attention is focused on the analysis of layered structures (meander and cut resistors and composite resistive structures). This is followed by an analysis of isotropic and anisotropic conductive-dielectric structures. The aim of the thesis was to create a computer program with which we will be able to visually and numerically evaluate characteristics of certain electro technical assemblies. This is also what assists engineers in its concept, design, analysis and testing.

Keywords:finite difference method, potential distribution, current density, resistance, anisotropy
