The purpose of this thesis was to build a device capable of measuring and generating electrical signals. The device is controlled by personal computer. Goal was, to build this device as cheap as possible, by using modern integrated circuits. It has to have 4 fully differential analogue inputs wit 12 bit resolution and input range between -10 an 10 V, 2 analogue outputs and 8 digital input/output pins. It has to achieve a sample rate of at least 100 thousand samples per second. All communication with computer and powering has to be done over USB bus.
