Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava in utemeljuje uporabo različnih metod dela z lutko za otrokov razvoj ter ustvarjanje spodbudnega okolja. V teoretičnem delu, ki je razdeljen na dve temeljni poglavji (učenje otrok in igra z lutko), povzemamo bistvene značilnosti in sestavine za ustvarjanje spodbudnega okolja ter aktivnega učenja otrok prvega starostnega obdobja. Obravnavamo vlogo vzgojitelja pri ustvarjanju spodbudnega okolja, njegove učinke in strategije za ustvarjanje le tega, pomen pozitivnih interakcij med vzgojiteljem in otrokom, področje dramske umetnosti v vrtcu ter vlogo igre z lutko pri otrokovem razvoju. V praktičnem delu so predstavljene dejavnosti, ki smo jih s pomočjo lutke – ljubljenca skupine – izvedli v skupini. Preko opazovanj, sprotnega dokumentiranja in analiziranja smo v refleksijah prikazali in utemeljili uporabo lutke kot sredstva za spodbujanje otrok pri aktivnem učenju in samostojnosti. Ugotovili smo, da so otroci ob uporabi in v sodelovanju z lutko, pridobili na samostojnosti, samozavesti, v pomoč jim je bila pri učenju primernega načina reševanja težav in pri premagovanju ovir. Lutka se je pokazala kot izredno dobrodošla prijateljica, ki je vsakogar razveselila in mu priskočila na pomoč. Vključena je bila tako v dnevno rutino kot v vsakdanje dejavnosti in igro otrok. V skupini se je ob pomoči lutke povečala medsebojna pomoč, sodelovanje in empatija. Lutka je velikokrat odpravila strah in povečala samozavest otrok, predvsem pa je v skupini ustvarjala veselo in sproščeno ozračje, odnos med otroki in vzgojiteljicama je postal bolj odprt, odnos med otroki pa pozitivnejši.

Title:The role of the puppet in the creation of stimulating environment of children in the first age period
Abstract:
In this undergraduate disertation the use of various work methods with puppets, their effect on a childs' development and methods to create an encouraging environment are discussed and explained. In the theoretical part, divided in two principal chapters (childrens' learning and puppet play), main characteristics and elements are outlined to create an encouraging environment and to enable active childrens' learning in the first age group in preschool. The role of a preschool teacher in creating a positive environment is discussed, his strategies and effects, the meaning of positive interactions between a teacher and a child, the domain of dramatic art in preschool and the role of the puppet play considering childs' development. In the practical part, the activities implemented with the help of the puppet, the group pet, are presented. Through observation, regular documenting and analyzing the use of the puppet as a means of encouraging children for active learning and their independence, was presented and explained. It was determined the children have gained considerably in their independence, self-confidence, appropriate problem solving and obstacle overcoming with the use and the cooperation with the puppet. The puppet turned out to be an extremely cherished friend, who cheered up and helped everyone. It was included in daily routine as in everyday activities and games. With its help, interactive help, cooperation and empathy increased in the group. Time and again, the mouse eliminated the fear and increased childrens' self-confidence. Mainly, the mouse created a happy and relaxed atmosphere, the children and the teachers became closer and the relationship between the children was positive.
