Delo obravnava sukcesijski razvoj gozda v gozdnem rezervatu Mozirska požganija. Na podlagi analize gozda v letu 1988 in primerjave z raziskavami v preteklih štiridesitih letih podaja smeri in hitrosti sukcesijskih sprememb vegetacije. Razvojni procesi so zaradi pionirskega značaja mladega gozda hitri in pestri. Malopovršinska prepletenost različnih sukcesijskih stadijev daje gozdu heterogen videz. Raznovrstnost razvojnih procesov in strukture gozda pomenita poskus narave ohraniti in razvijati življenje v ekstremnih razmerah, ki vladajo na požganiji

• Title: Developmental occurrences in the forest reserve of the Mozirje fire site in the fourth decade after fire

Abstract

The paper deals with a successional development of a forest in a forest reserve of the Mozirje požganija (The Mozirje fire site). Based on the forest analysis carried out in 1988 and a comparison with the research performed in the last forty years, it gives the directions and the rates of the vegetation succession changes. Developmental processes are fast and variegated due to the pioneer character of the young wood. Interminglement of small areas of various succession stages gives the forest a heterogeneous appearance. Diversity of developmental processes and forest structure represent a nature's attempt to preserve and develop the life in extreme conditions, present in a fire site.
