Abstract
Delavci opravljajo težka fizična dela in so izpostavljeni vremenskim vplivom.

Title:How to increase the productivity of saw mills
Abstract:
At most Slovenian saw mills, technology for sawing is mechanised or even automated whereas manipulation of sawn wood is usually manual. More than 50% working at the saw mills are employed to manipulate sawn wood. The workers undertake heavy physical work and are subject to the effects of weather. With the proposed mechanisation of sawn wood manipulation, the number of workers could be reduced by 30% and workers would not have to undertake heavy physical work, mill productivity would be increased and the work humanised.

Keywords:saw mili, manipulation ofsawn wood, mechanisation, working conditions, productivity
