Abstract
Poizvedovalno učenje (ang. inquiry-based learning, PU) je izraz, ki v najširšem pomenu opisuje procese učenja s poizvedovanjem in raziskovanjem. Natančnejša definicija PU, opredeljena v [1], navaja, da je PU in poučevanje usmerjeno na učenca, kateri zastavlja vprašanja, raziskuje situacije, se spoznava z načini naravoslovno-tehniškega raziskovanja in razvija lastne načine za iskanje rešitev. V takšnem učnem okolju je učitelj mentor in moderator učenčevega učnega procesa [1]. Osrednji cilj PU je razvoj učenčevih raziskovalnih sposobnosti in priprava na vseživljenjsko učenje [2]. Učinkovitost procesa se izkaže v sposobnosti učencev za prenos informacij v uporabno znanje pri iskanju najprimernejših rešitev danega problema ali vprašanja. Učenci se v procesu naučijo postavljati ključna vprašanja, zbrati ustrezne argumente, analizirati in interpretirati dobljene rezultate, jih sistematično predstaviti, oblikovati zaključke in izvesti evalvacijo leteh [3].

Title:Inqury based learning of robotics with application of technology problem-solving
Abstract:
Inquiry based learning (IBL) is a student-centered approach of learning and teaching. The central goal of IBL is for students to develop valuable research skills and to be prepared for life-long learning. IBL has four key outcomes during the process of learning: improved critical thinking skills, greater capacity for independent inquiry, taking more responsibility for one’s learning and intellectual growth. There is a lack of research on IBL in science and technology. In this paper the effectiveness of IBL in learning robotics was empirically investigated with two-way analysis of variance. Results from analysis showed that gender is not statistically significant for learning robotics. Thus, IBL is appropriate for teaching and learning robotics in heterogeneous groups by gender. The sample was not random selected and thus analysis showed that there’ll be no effect on learning robotics if we change learning contents in different groups. Key findings contribute for course designers to the content preparation and for science and technology teachers who will teach robotics by method of IBL.
