Raziskava obravnava mikroklimatske spremembe v krošnji in neposredni okolici prosto rastočih dreves ter njihov zoocenotski pomen. Pozornost je bila posvečena tudi različnim stresnim obremenitvam, ki jih prestajajo ta drevesa. Na koncu so strnjena vsa spoznanja v nove poglede na vlogo teh dreves v agrarni krajini.

• Title: Some landscape ecological aspects of solitary trees in rural landscape - different roles of these trees in rural landscape

Abstract

The study is concerned with the role of solitary trees as to microclimatic changes in their crowns and in their vicinity, and with their relationship to wildlife. The effect of some stress factors is dealt with. In conclusion, some new views on the importance of these trees based on the findings of the study are presented.
