Problemsko-tematska študijska razstava izpostavlja štiri slovenske avtorje: Iva Mršnika, Zdenka Huzjana, Jožefa Muhoviča in Črtomirja Freliha, ki pripadajo zaporednim generacijam umetnikov ljubljanske akademije. Razstava je zastavljena z dvema generacijsko bližnjima paroma: Mršnik - Huzjan z nastavki temeljne risbe po Gabrijelu Stupici ter Muhovič - Frelih z zasnovo temeljne risbe po Bogdanu Borčiču. Ekspresija figure je v delih vseh štirih v pretanjeni kongenialni diskreciji.

Abstract

The exhibition in its scope of themes and problems puts forth four Slovenian authors: Ivo Mršnik, Zdenko Huzjan, Jožef Muhovič and Črtomir Frelih, who belong to consecutive generations of artists coming from the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition is conceived as a presentation of two subsequent generations: Mršnik – Huzjan, at their beginnings proceeding from the drawing of Gabriel Stupica; and Muhovič – Frelih owing their outset to Bogdan Borčič. In the works of all four, the expressiveness of a figure comprises of a subtle congenial discretion.
