Abstract
Lastnosti lesnih sekancev, ki so namenjeni energetski izrabi, lahko zelo variirajo. V diplomski nalogi smo podrobneje ugotavljali lastnosti lesnih sekancev za kurjenje, ki jih uporabljajo v večji kotlovnici. Analizirali smo nekaj najpomembnejših lastnosti, kot so vlažnost, porazdelitev velikosti sekancev, vsebnost lubja in gostoto nasutja. Ugotovili smo, da le 11 % odvzetih vzorcev ustreza vrednostim, ki jih zahteva standard Ö NORM M7133. Ta predpisuje vlažnost nižjo od 40 % in velikostni razred porazdelitve velikosti delcev G50. Kotel v preučevani kotlovnici je načrtovan za kurjenje sekancev in lubja tudi z večjo vsebnostjo vode ter večjih delcev, kot to predpisuje standard, zato so rezultati za kotlovnico sprejemljivi. Na osnovi ankete, s katero smo želeli ugotoviti način spremljanja kakovosti dobavljenega kuriva v večjih kotlovnicah, smo ugotovili, da le nekatere kotlovnice spremljajo vlažnost lesnih sekancev ter porazdelitev velikosti delcev, medtem ko nekatere kotlovnice ne izvajajo nikakršne kontrole lastnosti lesnih sekancev.

Title:Characteristics analysis of wood chips for heating : graduation thesis - higher professional studies
Abstract:
The characteristics of wood chips that are intended for energy utilization can vary substantially. In the diploma thesis we have defined in more detail the characteristics of wood chips used for heating in a larger boiler station. We analysed some of more important characteristics like water containment, size distribution of particles, bark containment and the density of wood chips heaps. We have found out that only 11% of the taken samples comply with the standard Ö NORM M7 133. This standard demands the humidity level lower than 40% and the size class of the distribution particle in the size G50. The boiler in the studied boiler station is planned for heating of chips and bark with a higher level of water containment and larger particles than are prescribed by the standard. Therefore the results for this boiler station are acceptable. On the basis of the survey that tried to find out the way the quality of the delivered heating material in larger boiler stations is monitored we have found out that only a few of boiler stations monitor the humidity of wood chips and the distribution of particle size whereas some of them do not perform any monitoring of the wood chips characteristics whatsoever.
