each human being responds to sports activities in the same way as to work, i.e. with his/her whole personality. On the one hand, this process may hide the initiators of development, maturing, the formation of integrity, new quality of mental and spiritual activities and on the other all those obstructions and disintegration which can be found in the working process and interpersonal relations. It is a complex of motivational initiatives, which, together with the individual's psysique and through his/her personality and stage of generic evolution, determined by fixation, find their many-sided significant expression in sports activities. Socio-cultural environment is of considerable importance for this process. In the course of our psychological work we encounter slight emotional and behavioural variations which are attributed to the difference between the sexes, developmental growth from childhood to adulthood as well as to the meaning of sport for each individual's expression and existence. Transitions from different periods, inhibitions of motivational contents, new emotional ties, etc. can initiate, in sport as well as in life itself, a series of dilemmas, psychosomatic, psychoneurotic and personality problems which can all significantly reduce theindividual's efficiency of training, influence his/her interpersonal relations between the sexes, his/her success in competitions, etc.
