Abstract
V podjetju Javor Pivka se pri nekaterih izvedbah stolov srečujejo s problemom trdnosti konstrukcije. Želeli smo raziskati ali je tehnika obdelave čepa, ki jo uporabljajo za izdelavo vezi za svoje stole, najprimernejša. Ugotovili smo, da majhna sprememba obdelave čepa vpliva na boljšo konstrukcijo stola. Z drugačno tehniko nanosa lepila pa bi lahko še dodatno povečali trdnost spoja in posledično tudi stola.

Title:Optimal structure choice of the Ken chair : graduation thesis - higher professional studies
Abstract:
Javor Pivka is facing the problem of insufficient construction strength in some designs of chairs. We wanted to explore whether the technique of tenon fabrication processing, currently used in the chair fabrication process, is really the optimal. It was found out that a small change in fabrication process of tenons results in better chair construction. The joint strength and, therefore, the strength of the chair, could further be increased using different application techniques of gluing.
