Abstract
Opisan je nastanek lignificirane celične stene in zveza med molekularnimi sestavinami in strukturami ter njihovimi lastnostmi. Celična stena je primerjana z dvofaznim in večfaznim kompozitom. Prikazan je nastanek celične plošče in srednje lamele, zgradba in funkcija primarne in sekundarne stene, nastanek celuloznih mikrofibril in orientacije, raztegljivost primarne stene in lignifikacija.

Title:Formation of wood
Abstract:
Formation of the lignified cell wall is described and the molecular components and structures of the cell wall to their properties related. Cell wall is compared with the two and polyphase composite. Emphasis is placed on the formation of the cell plate and middle lamella, structure and function of the primary and secondary cell wall, cellulose microfibril formation and orientation, primary wall extensibility and lignification.
