Abstract
Pogodba obstaja v dveh oblikah, v začetni seksualni oziroma realni obliki in v neseksualni, nominalni oziroma fiktivni obliki. Neseksualna začasna poroka je namenjena predvsem manipulaciji družbeno definiranih (vidnih in nevidnih) meja v prostoru, vključno z zapovedjo zakrivanja. Institucija začasne poroke ni fiksna praksa, temveč je podvržena reinterpretacijam in kulturnim improvizacijam, ki pogojujejo transformacije ženske prostorske mobilnosti.

Abstract:
The article deals with the strategies used to cope with difficulties of spatial interaction under the specific condition of seclusion in contemporary Iran. It is focused on the complex institution of temporary marriage that among other things allows local women to re-define spatial mobility within the local space and while travelling. Temporary marriage mut'a is a part of thepre-Islamic Arabic tradition and is practiced today among the Shiites while it is legally recognized only in Iran under the name sigheh. Temporary marriage is a contract between a man and an unmarried woman that is a virgin, divorcee or a widow. It renders a temporary legal status to both partners and exists in two different forms: the original sexual or the "real" form and the non-sexual or the "fictive" form. The non-sexual form is used mainly to manipulate socially defined (visible and invisible) spatial boundaries, the rule of veiling included. Institution of temporary marriage is not a fixed practice it is rather a subject to reinterpretation and cultural improvisation that influence transformation of female spatial mobility.
