Politična korektnost : primer uporabnic in uporabnikov nedovoljenih drog

Politična korektnost je pomemben element strategije politike emancipacije, ki jo lahko označimo kot boj proti kulturnih krivicam. Družbena realnost je sklop družbenih mehanizmov in simbolnih polj, ki krožijo v skupnosti. V hegemonskih bojih se nekatera simbolna polja vmestijo v register družbenega konsenza, medtem ko so druga potisnjena na družbeno obrobje. Osebam, ki jih označujejo ali ki se identificirajo s slednjimi, je storjena kulturna krivica. Politična korektnost je dejanje, izvršeno z izrekanjem, ki je etično-politično motivirano s tem, da ne povzroča kulturnih krivic. Pregled diskurzov o drogah pokaže, da je uporabnicam/uporabnikom drog storjena krivica s tem, da se jim odvzema status subjekta, da se njihovo prakso pojmujekot bolezen in da se jih negativno označuje. Politično korektno izrekanje o vprašanju drog bi moralo temeljiti na nevtralnih izrazih, ki pojavdenotirajo, ne da ob tem s konotacijo uvajajo negativne pomenske vsebine,ki so do označenih oseb krivične.

Abstract

Political correctness is an important element in the strategy of the politics of emancipation, which can be defined as the fight against cultural injustice.Social reality is a complex of social mechanisms and symbolic fieldsthat circulate in a community. In hegemonic fights some symbolic fields enter the register of social consensus while others are pushed on the social margins. Persons who are represented by, or who identify with the latter, suffer cultural injustices. Political correctness is an act performed by enunciation that is ethically-politically motivated with the aim not to cause cultural injustices. A survey of the discourses on drugs shows that drug users suffer injustices by being denied the status of a subject, by the fact that drug use is being treated as an illness and by being represented negatively. Politically correct utterances in the field of drug use should be based on neutral words that denote the phenomena without introducing negative connotations that are injust to drug users.
