Conflicts are an everyday occurrence that can negatively affect our personal as well as professional lives. When something is as common as any conflict can be, then the knowledge of how to react to it is much more important than looking for the reason of its existence. Conflicts are a natural occurrence, and as such are not necessarily dangerous, but our way of reacting to them can pose a threat, and begin a chain reaction if the persons involved do not know or learn how to constructively solve them. We checked the status and studied the options for better problem-solving in a chosen wood construction company. With the help of a survey we received the opinions of the surveyed about conflicts. We found out that the employees recognize conflicts, and that from their point of view the resolution of them is successful. After analyzing the results of the study we gave suggestions for improvement, the basis of which lies on the betterment of communication among the employers and the employees. For a higher conflict resolution success rate, the company should use counseling, which seems to be better for the company and friendlier to the employees. Most importantly, it is the honesty and the strengthening of trust between the employers and the employees that will minimize the frequency and number of negative conflicts in the company.
