Abstract
Proučevali smo vpliv kakovosti brušenja ivernih plošč (IP) na oprijemnost papirja, impregniranega z melaminsko smolo (MP). V ta namen smo uporabili tri različne končne brusne papirje (granulacije 36, 80 in 100). Zaradi narave procesa izdelovanja IP prihaja do različnih velikosti odbruskov, saj se bruto debeline surovih IP razlikujejo med sabo tudi za 2 mm in več. Zato smo za vsako vrsto brušenja izbrali tri debelinske tipe IP: normalne, tanke in debele, glede na njihovo debelino so se razlikovale tudi velikosti odbruskov. Za ocenjevanje čvrstosti površine smo uporabili test čvrstosti površine. Kakovost površine MP smo ugotavljali s kislinskim testom, testom s svinčniki in internim testom s svinčniki. S testom porazdelitve prostorninskih mas pa smo si pomagali pri razumevanju dobljenih rezultatov. Ugotovili smo, da imata bruto debelina IP in interval brušenja večji vpliv na kakovost oprijema MP na IP kot pa vrsta brušenja. Čvrstost površine je naraščala s finostjo brušenja do točke, na kateri se je zaradi fenomena glajenja in vtiskovanja lesnih vlaken sila čvrstosti površine znižala na vrednost grobega brušenja. S kislinskim testom smo ugotovili rahlo razliko med otrdelostjo zgornje in spodnje površine IP, hkrati pa je s finostjo brušenja naraščala otrdelost površine obložene IP. Podobno korelacijo smo opazili pri testu s svinčniki, kjer vrednost rezultata ravno tako narašča s finostjo brušenja površine brušene IP. Z internim testom s svinčniki smo ugotovili, da je rezultat testov naraščal s finostjo brušenja do tretjega, najfinejšega načina brušenja. Pri tem smo opazili, da se je vrednost rezultatov ponovno znižala pod vrednost grobega brušenja. Vzrok smo poiskali v tem, da so vrhnja vlakna obrušene IP mehansko poškodovana zaradi fenomena glajenja in vtiskovanja lesnih vlaken v površino IP, ne pa odrezovanja le-teh. Opazili smo tudi, da z naraščajočo gostoto OP IP narašča vrednost internega testa s svinčniki.

Title:Influence of sanding of particleboards on adhesion of melamine impregnated paper : graduation thesis - university studies
Abstract:
We examined the influence of the quality of sanding of particleboards (IP) on adhesion of paper impregnated with melamine resin (MP). 3 different final grain sizes (granulations 36, 80 and 100) were used. The nature of process of making IP produces variable sizes of sand-offs, considering the fact raw thickness of the IP varied also for 2 mm and more. In this concern, 3 thickness types of IP were put to the test: normal, thin and thick; sizes of sand-offs were differentiated according to their thickness. We used the surface soundness test to evaluate the firmness of the surface. The acid test, scratch test and internal pencil test were applied to determine quality of the MP. We used density profile of IP for interpretation of the results. It has been determined that both, raw thickness of the IP and the sanding interval, have greater impact on MP's adhesion to the IP than the grain size itself. Surface soundness increased along the sanding quality up to the point, where the force of the surface soundness was reduced to the value of rough sanding due to the smoothening phenomena and the impression of wooden fibres. The acid test detected a minor difference in hardening of the upper and lower IP's surface, but at the same time the covered IP's surface hardened parallel with the sanding quality. A similar correlation was detected in the scratch test, where the result rose along the sanding quality of the sanded IP's surface. Internal pencil test ascertained that the result of the tests grew parallelly with sanding quality, up to 3rd, the finest sort of sanding. The value of results fell under the value of 1st sanding. The rising density of the IP's peak density covered with MP provided a rising values in the internal pencil test.
