Slovenski splošni in terminološki slovarji : za koga?

V prispevku obravnavamo nujnost po večjem upoštevanju potreb naslovnikov in uporabnikov pri pripravi splošnih ter terminoloških slovarjev. Več pozornosti posvečamo različnim profilom naslovnikov terminoloških slovarjev, pri čemer se pri slovenskih slovarjih izkaže, da so predvsem namenjeni področnim strokovnjakom, ne pa npr. prevajalcem ali strokovno nepoučenim.

Abstract

The article discusses how necessary it is to take into account the needs of intended and potential users during the production of general and terminological dictionaries. Different terminological dictionary user profiles are presented and an analysis of Slovene dictionaries shows that they mainly aim to satisfy the needs of domain experts and not translators or laypersons.
