Abstract
Lutkovno gledališče Ljubljana je bilo ustanovljeno leta 1948, prva premiera pa je bila 10. oktobra v Mestnem lutkovnem gledališču, kot se je gledališče prvotno imenovalo. V letih 1948-2008 je doživelo številne spremembe: od preimenovanja, različnih estetik do spremembe lokacije (od 1984 ima prostore v Mestnem domu na Krekovem trgu). V času od 1948 do 2008 so se izkristalizirale tri uspešnice - priredbe mladinskih besedil, in sicer Sapramiška Svetlane Makarovič, Zvezdica Zaspanka Franeta Milčinskega in Žogica Marogica Jana Malika.

Abstract:
The Ljubljana Puppet Theatre was founded in 1948 and the first performance was on 10th October that year; it was first called the City Puppet Theatre. From 1948 to 2008 it underwent several changes, such as changes of name, different aesthetics, changes to the central location of puppet theatre (since 1984 it permanently resides at Mestni dom (Civic Home), located on Krekov Square). In the period from 1948-2008 were three significant hits appeared: The Skip Mouse by Svetlana Makarovič, The Little Sleepy Star by Frane Milčinski and Marogica the Ball by Jan Malik.
