Abstract
Slovenska lesarska podjetja uporabljajo za risanje svojih izdelkov različne računalniške programe. Najbolj pogoste: AutoCAD, MegaCAD in MegaTISCHLER, smo vključili v raziskavo, pri kateri je sodelovalo 70 oseb, 54 študentov iz Oddelka za lesarstvo Biotehniške fakultete in 16 zaposlenih, ki s temi programi delajo na svojih delovnih mestih v podjetjih. Vsi sodelujoči so dobili navodila za delo v pisni obliki. Proučevali smo porabo časa, porabljenega za risanje sklopa predalnika. Vse sodelujoče smo razdelili v 4 kakovostne skupine. Z analizo podatkov smo ugotovili, da so bile risbe najhitreje narisane s programom MegaTISCHLER in tako potrdili našo hipotezo. Najhitreje so predalnik narisali zaposleni (9 min); zanj so v povprečju porabili skoraj 3-krat manj časa kot najpočasnejši študentje (23 min), kar je bila posledica izkušenj zaradi vsakodnevnega dela s programi. Zaposleni so tudi pri ostalih programih porabili manj časa, vendar razlika ni bila tako velika kot pri programu MegaTISCHLER.

Title:Comparison of selected CAD programmes used in furniture industry : graduation thesis - higher professional studies
Abstract:
Slovenian wood processing firms use many different computer programmes to design their products, most frequently: AutoCAD, MegaCAD and MegaTISCHLER. The time needed to design a certain component of a specific chest of drawers was researched. 70 people participated in the study, 54 of them being students of Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Wood Science and Technology, and 16 actually using those tools at work in various Slovenian wood processing firms. Participants were divided into 4 different groups according to their skill levels. The data analysis showed that MegaTISCHLER was by far the simplest and fastest programme. The employees finished drawing almost 3-times as fast as the unskilled students; on average they did it in no more than 9 min, while students completed their tasks in 23 min. The data show that the velocity of designing products with these tools mainly depends on experience and the everyday use of the programmes. The employees were also the quickest to finish the exercise with other 2 computer programmes, but the time difference was not as big as it was when using the MegaTISCHLER programme.
