Abstract

Title:The analysis of the origin of the land cadastre at the border with Hungary
Abstract:
In this thesis we are discussing the beginnings of the land cadastre in Prekmurje, the so called Hungarian cadastre. The first systematic cadastral measurements in the area of Prekmurje had been conducted in the framework of the Hungarian cadastre in the second half of the 19th century. The main purpose of this thesis has been to analyze and present the realization of the Hungarian cadastre and the content of the cadastral evidence. On the basis of the available literature about the origin of the cadastre in the Hungarian part of the former monarchy, which was mostly in the Hungarian language, and the overview of the archive documentation of the land cadastre for the studied area, the cadastral municipality of Prosenjakovci at today's Slovene-Hungarian border, we tried to outline some particularities of the cadastral maps comparing to the maps of the Fransicsean cadastre in the Austrian part of the former monarchy. Furthermore, the development of land cadastre in Prekmurje is presented, with the emphasis on the systematic new cadastral measurements and the Slovenian-Hungarian state border, since data on the position of state border is directly connected to the land cadastre. Based on the field inspection we presented also materialization of the state border in the field for the study area. Additionally, the evidence of state border, maintained by the Surveying and mapping authority of the Republic of Slovenia, is introduced.
