The thesis deals with arranging place outside urban settlements with a particular case of settlement Dolgo Brdo pri Mlinšah. It introduces features of rural area, a methodological approach to arranging settlements outside of urban areas and legislation that influences these settlements. The thesis also deals with the making of a detailed spatial plan of settlement Dolgo Brdo pri Mlinšah that will enable development of the settlement, increase the number of inhabitants and also help preserving cultural heritage. The emphasis is on the completed analyses of the aforementioned area that were conducted on the basis of gathering data on field and on the basis of statistical data.
The detailed spatial analysis of the settlement is shown on the maps. The maps are made on 1: 4000 scale and are related to relief, roof picture , traffic arrangement of the settlement, actual and dedicated use of the place, specification of the objects and morphological analysis. The concept of the suggested arrangement in based on the completed analyses followed by a detailed plan of the arrangement. The maps introduce a presumed building situation, traffic arrangements and a presumed greenway formation.
