Urbana prenova in predlog za revitalizacijo starega mestnega jedra Krškega : diplomska naloga

V diplomski nalogi smo se ukvarjali z urbano prenovo in revitalizacijo starih mestnih jeder. V teoretičnem delu naloge smo razložili osnovne pojme ter prikazali nekaj pristopov načrtovanja trajnostne in celovite urbane prenove. Izpostavili smo nekatere države Evropske Unije, ki so se s takšnim načinom prostorskega načrtovanja začele ukvarjati najprej ter preverili, kako se s problemom urbane prenove soočamo v Republiki Sloveniji. V praktičnem delu naloge smo najprej predstavili mesto Krško. Na kratko smo orisali zgodovinska dejstva ter predstavili osnovne podatke o okolju in prostoru. Podrobneje smo predstavili ožje obravnavano območje starega mestnega jedra in naredili grafične analize o današnjem stanju obravnavanega prostora. Pred oblikovanjem koncepta revitalizacije starega mestnega jedra smo na podlagi analiz ovrednotili današnje stanje prostora obravnavanega območja. Podali smo precej predlogov usmeritve razvoja, ki bi lahko oživili staro mestno jedro in posledično omogočali trajni razvoj celotnega mesta Krško. Oblikovali smo predlog oživitve celotnega obravnavanega območja, natančneje pa smo se posvetili historični mestni ulici, ki je zgodovinsko najpomembnejši del starega mestnega jedra. V zaključnem poglavju smo strnili bistvene misli in ugotovitve glede urbane prenove ter predlagali metodologijo za celovito načrtovanje urbane prenove starih mestnih jeder.

• Title: Urban renewal and the proposal for the revitalization of old city centre in Krško

Abstract

The thesis focuses on the urban renewal and revitalisation of the cities' historic centres. In the theoretical part of the thesis we explained the primary concepts and demonstrated some approaches to the sustainable and comprehensive urban renovation planning. We have highlighted some of the countries of the European Union that have confronted this type of spatial planning for the first time and we have compared it to the approach to urban planning in Republic of Slovenia. In the first part of the practical part of the thesis where we presented the city of Krško, we outlined the historic facts and presented the basic information about the city's space and environment. We presented in detail the focusing area of the historic centre of the city and we made graphic analysis regarding the current state of the considered area. We have used these analyses to evaluate the current state of the area before we actually started developing our concept. We laid out some suggestions and guidelines on how to revive the historic centre of the city and enable the efficient sustainable development of the entire city of Krško. Although we formed a suggestion for revitalization of the entire considered area our focus was mainly on the most important part of the historic centre, the old city street. In the final chapter we summarized the main thoughts and findings regarding urban renewal and made a methodological suggestion for the comprehensive planning of the urban renewal and for the revitalisation of cities' historic centres.
