Abstract
V magistrskem delu je prikazana uporaba vakuumskih izolacijskih panelov, ki predstavljajo velik tehnološki napredek in dobre toplotnoizolacijske lastnosti. V delu je analizirana stavba Univerze v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za gradbeništvo in geodezijo. Stavba je vpisana v Register kulturne dediščine, zato smo morali upoštevati kulturnovarstvene pogoje. Analiza konstrukcijskih detajlov je bila narejena s programom Therm. Prikazana je uporaba vakuumskih izolacijskih panelov na delih stavbe, kjer se dogajajo toplotne izgube ali obstajajo izraziti linijski toplotni mostovi. Poraba energije oziroma njeni prihranki so bili izračunani s programom TOST. Finančna analiza je bila narejena po metodi neto sedanje vrednosti.

Title:The possibilities of using vacuum thermal insulation in buildings
Abstract:
The master's thesis demonstrates the use of vacuum insulation panel, which is a significant technological advancement characterised by good thermal insulation features. The master's thesis analyses the building of the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering of the University of Ljubljana. As the building is registered in the Register of Slovene Cultural Heritage, cultural heritage conditions needed to be observed in the process. Construction details were analysed using Therm software. Moreover, the master's thesis provides insight into using vacuum insulation panels on those sections of the building that cause heat losses or where distinct linear thermal bridges can be observed. nergy use and savings were calculated with the programme TOST, while the financial analysis was conducted in line with the net present value method.
