Abstract
V diplomski nalogi sem ugotavljal, kakšen vpliv ima EAF C žlindra na fizikalno-mehanske lastnosti betona. V ta namen sem izdelal dve betonski mešanici po enaki recepturi, pri čemer sem uporabil različna agregata. V prvi mešanici sem uporabil žlindrin, v drugi pa drobljen apnenčev agregat. Najprej sem preizkušal lastnosti betona v svežem stanju, kjer sem meril konsistenco betona po metodi poseda stožca, delež por v betonu s pomočjo poroziometra ter temperaturo betona. Na strjenem betonu sem ugotavljal tlačno in upogibno natezno trdnost vzorcev ter njihovo odpornost proti prodoru vode pod pritiskom. Zanimalo me je, ali lahko z obema mešanicama dosežemo enake oziroma primerljive vrednosti, torej ali z uporabo žlindrinega agregata vplivamo na karakteristike betona.

Title:EAF C Slag influence on physical and mechanical properties of concrete
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with the influence of the EAF slag C on physical-mechanical properties of concrete. Two concrete mixtures were designed according to the same recipe; however, two different aggregates with the same volume fraction were used. In the first mix the slag was applied and in the second one crushed limestone aggregate was incorporated. First the properties of concrete in the fresh state were tested: consistency of concrete by the slump method, content of air pores using pressure gauge method and measurements of temperature. In the hardened state of concrete compressive and flexural tensile strength of samples were tested and resistance of concrete to penetration of water under pressure was determined. The aim of the thesis was to establish whether both concrete mixtures have comparable properties and if and how we influence the concrete properties when using the slag aggregate.
