The main topic of this bachelor thesis is a description of geodetic works on the construction or on the reconstruction of the facility. The thesis is focused on the reconstruction of the road JP562130 in the municipality of Divača. The first part includes the description of different types of geodetic works, after that there is a presentation of actual geodetic works that have been done in the road construction. Cross sections are used to design and to set out the course of the new road. When the construction work is completed, the surveyor has to make the geodetic plan of the existing situation and has to calculate the volume of earth masses. Since the surveyor's work is associated with construction, it is necessary to know some basic information about roads in general.
