Abstract
Pri načrtovanju prometnih površin je varnost vedno na prvem mestu, zato se je potrebno pri načrtovanju križišča postaviti v kožo kasnejšega uporabnika in umestiti tehnične elemente na način, da nas varno vodijo skozi križišče in hkrati opozarjajo na morebitne nevarnosti. V diplomski nalogi se obravnavano križišče nahaja izven strnjenega naselja. Pri načrtovanju zato ni bilo potrebno »skopariti« s prostorom. Tako je križišče zasnovano zelo odprto, kar pa je pripeljalo do tega, da poteka gibanje in razvrščanje prometnega toka neurejeno, obenem pa so zaradi občutka odprtosti križišča velikokrat presežene tudi omejitve hitrosti v križišču. Ob upoštevanju naštetega je zato ogrožena varnost vseh udeležencev v prometu. Glede na obstoječe stanje križišča sta v nadaljevanju prikazani dve možnosti ureditve križišča. Prva je kanaliziranje obstoječega križišča, druga pa izvedba krožnega križišča. Obe varianti sta obdelani kot gradbena in prometna situacija.

Title:Reconstruction of 3-way intersection: R1 - 255, Črnivec - Radmirje / R1 - 225, Radmirje - Mozirje / R2 - 428, Radmirje - Luče
Abstract:
When outlining designated transit areas, safety is of primary importance. Because of that, when intersections are being planned, the methodology has to be based on the characteristics of everyday road user behaviour. Technical specifications also have to be considered and implemented in such a way that the user is safely guided through the crossroads as well as being warned of any possible dangers. The intersection debated in the diploma thesis is situated outside a densely populated area so there is no shortage of space. The junction is consequently designed very freely. This means that the flow of traffic and the changing of lanes is disordered. The open nature of the crossroads also contributes to the speed limits being frequently exceeded. All of this being considered, the safety of every traffic participant is therefore hindered. In the next part of the thesis two different possible intersection regimes are presented taking into account the current state of the junction - the first being the channelization of the crossroads and the second the construction of a roundabout. Both possibilities are discussed from a constructional and traffic perspective.
