Abstract
V diplomskem delu predstavljamo sodobno rešitev kompostiranja. Raziskali smo razgradnjo bioloških odpadkov iz gospodinjstva, z uporabo avtomatskega kompostnika. Prvi del predstavlja teoretična spoznanja o kompostiranju in avtomatskem kompostniku. Drugo, analitično področje, nas seznanja z dvema poizkusoma, ki sta bila izvedena po predpisanih postopkih doziranja. Na osnovi eksperimentalnega dela lahko povzamemo, da uporaba avtomatskega kompostnika ponuja hitro zmanjšanje količin bioloških odpadkov. Hkrati omogoča predelavo odpadkov na mestu njihovega nastanka. Pridelan končni produkt je kompost, ki ne predstavlja obremenitve za okolje in je primeren za nadaljnjo uporabo. Z uporabo avtomatskega kompostnika pripomoremo k uresničevanju pomembnega cilja t.i. zmanjšanje odpadkov na mestu njihovega nastanka. S tem temeljno prispevamo k nižjim degradacijskim NIMBY (“not in my back yard”, prevedeno “ne na mojem dvorišču”) efektom in botrujemo k trajnostnemu varovanju okolja, ki je v sodobnem času izjemno pomembno.

Title:Ecological recycling of household biowaste in automatic composter
Abstract:
This thesis presents a modern solution of composting. We have investigated the degradation of household biowaste, by using automatic composter. The first part of thesis presents the theoretical insights of composting and automatic composter. The second part, analytical, inform us with two retries, performed by using prescribed dosage procedures. Based on the experimental work, we can summarize, that use of automatic composter offers rapid reduction of biowaste quantities. It also enables waste processing of biowaste at the place of its formation. The final product is compost, which does not constitute a burden for the environment and is suitable for further use. The use of automatic composter contributes to very important goal that is reducing waste at the place of its formation. With this we fundamentally contribute to lower degradation NIMBY (“not in my back yard”) effect and we provide sustainable protection of the environment, which is extremely important nowadays.
