Abstract
Neprekinjeno kloriranje bazenske kopalne vode in vnos organskih onesnažil s strani kopalcev v kombinaciji z neprestanim kroženjem bazenske vode znotraj sistema, vodijo do nastanka in akumulacije stranskih produktov dezinfekcije v bazenski vodi. Osnovni namen diplomske naloge je bil v začetnem teoretičnem delu na kratko opisati zakonodajo s področja bazenskih voda in podati osnovne informacije o pripravi bazenske vode, vključno z dezinfekcijo (kloriranjem), ter opisati stranske produkte dezinfekcije (SPD), ki se formirajo ob reakciji z organskimi ogljikovimi in dušikovimi spojinami. Pri izvedbi praktičnega dela sem sodelovala s Termami Sončni park Vivat iz Moravskih Toplic. Pri tem sem analizirala rezultate laboratorijskih vzorčenj in ocenila uspešnost do sedaj vpeljanih tehnoloških postopkov priprave bazenske kopalne vode ter njihov vpliv na zmanjševanja koncentracij trihalometanov (THM), ki so v Termah Vivat najpogostejši vzrok za neskladnost vzorcev bazenske vode. V bazenskem kompleksu Term Vivat se bazenska voda za 6 bazenov pripravlja na treh ločenih bazenskih sistemih: B1, B2 in B3. Z dosledno pripravo bazenske vode so dosegli, da so se koncentracije THM v bazenski vodi občutno znižale in se gibljejo pod mejnimi dovoljenimi vrednostmi.

Title:Swimming pool water treatment technologies and strategies to reduce chlorine disinfection by-products (DBP) formation - Terme Sončni park Vivat Spa Case Study
Abstract:
The continuous chlorination of swimming pool water and the input of organic contaminants by bathers in combination with recirculation of the pool water inside the system leads to the formation of the disinfection by-products and their accumulation in the water. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on swimming pool water legislation, gives basic information on pool water treatment including the disinfection (chlorination), and describes the disinfection by-products (DBP) that form during the reaction with organic carbon and nitrogen compounds. For the practical part I cooperated with Terme Sončni park Vivat Spa. I analyzed the results of the laboratory samplings and assessed the effectiveness of the already introduced technological procedures of pool water treatment and their influence on the decrease of trihalomethanes (THM) concentrations. In Terme Vivat pool complex they are by far the most common cause of pool water samples inconsistency. In Terme Vivat pool complex the pool water for 6 pools is treated in three separate pool systems: B1, B2 and B3. The concentrations of THMs in the pool water have decreased considerably and have stayed below the maximum limiting value due to the consistent pool water treatment.
