Infrastruktura slovenske mladinske književnosti

Mladinska književnost je nadpomenka za dve področji, in sicer za področje ustvarjanja za otroke (od rojstva do 12. leta) in mladostnike (12.-18. leta), kar je treba upoštevati cum grano salis, kar pomeni, da so letnice le informativne. Področje je obenem integralni del polisistema, kot so družba, kultura, jezik in književnost. Le-ta ima funkcije, ki so medsebojno povezane ter soodvisne od drugih sistemov, npr. slovenske književnosti, primerjalne književnosti, prevajalstva, bibliotekarstva in sorodnih področij.

Abstract

Children's literature is a hypernym or umbrella term for two fields: firstly, literary texts for children (up to 12) and secondly texts for young people (from 12 to 18) - the ages here being more of an informative nature. The fieldof children's literature is part of polysystems such as society, culture,language and literature; it has functions that are complementary and dependent on other systems, e.g. Slovene literature, comparative literature, translation studies, library studies and similar fields.
