Abstract
Osrednji cilj te diplomske naloge je bilo izdelati testirno napravo za testiranje rotacijskih enkoderjev RMB44, ki omogoča hiter in zanesljiv test delovanja enkoderjev. Diplomsko delo je bilo izdelano zaradi potrebe učinkovitejšega testiranja v proizvodnji v podjetju RLS MERILNA TEHNIKA d.o.o. Na podlagi analize delovanja enkoderja smo načrtali in izdelali prototip avtomatske testirne naprave, s katerim smo preverili koncept testiranja. Z upoštevanjem pridobljenih izkušenj smo razvili končno testirno napravo, ki smo jo izdelali in preizkusili v realni aplikaciji. Napravo v grobem sestavljajo mikrokrmilnik ATmega88, prikazovalnik na tekoče kristale, merilnik toka, izhodni tranzistorji, napajalno vezje in tipke. Vgrajena programska oprema skrbi za izvajanje protokola testiranja in prikaz rezultatov. Naprava je izpolnila vse ključne zadane zahteve in se uspešno uporablja v proizvodnji senzorjev.

Title:Testing device for RMB44 rotary encoders
Abstract:
The main goal of this diploma thesis was to develop a device for testing RMB44 rotary encoders that quickly delivers reliable test result. This device was finally used in the company RLS MERILNA TEHNIKA d.o.o. to make final testing in the production process more reliable and effective. On the basis of the encoder analysis we designed and constructed a prototype of an automatic testing machine, which was used as a proof of concept. Based on the gained experience, we developed a final testing device, which was applied in a real application. The device consist of an ATmega88 microcontroller, liquid crystal display, current measurement, output transistors, power circuit and keys for user interface. Embedded software runs a testing protocol and displays final results. Device has accomplished all of the required goals and is now successfully applied in the final test phase of the production process of encoders.
