Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava odziv sončnih elektrarn na spremembo omrežne frekvence ter njihov vpliv na frekvenčno stabilnost, pri čemer je osredotočeno na prehod omrežja v otočno obratovanje in na samo otočno obratovanje. V evropsko interkonekcijo je vključenih preko 80 GW sončnih elektrarn, kar predstavlja opazen delež v proizvodni shemi. Pri vplivu sončnih elektrarn na frekvenčno stabilnost se sistemski operaterji prvenstveno ukvarjajo s problematiko »50,2 Hz«, ki analizira vpliv trenutnega izklopa sončnih elektrarn pri povišani omrežni frekvenci. Rešitev problematike je ključna za stabilnost evropske interkonekcije. Za potrebe dinamičnih simulacij je v programskem paketu NETOMC izdelan model energetskega otoka Medvode-Mavčiče in analiziran vpliv trenutnega izklopa sončnih elektrarn pri frekvenci 50,2 Hz ter učinek predlagane frekvenčne regulacije. Rezultati simulacij kažejo na smiselnost predlaganega ukrepa, saj se pri vseh obratovalnih scenarijih frekvenčna stabilnost izboljša.

Impact of PV power plants on power-system frequency stability
Abstract:
The objective of master thesis was to verify solar stations response to mains frequency deviations and their impact on frequency stability, focusing on transition into islanded operation and island operation itself. Solar power represents a significant share in the production scheme, as there is over 80 GW of solar power installed in the European interconnected system. The primary focus of the European system operators, when dealing with frequency stability, is the so-called »50.2 Hz« problem, which causes disconnection of the solar station from the grid in case of over-frequency. Solving this issue is crucial for the European interconnected system stability. Dynamic analyses are based on NETOMAC model of Medvode-Mavčiče island and solar stations impact on frequency stability tested, while checking the impact of immediate disconnection at 50.2 Hz and frequency control. Simulations demonstrate a positive effect of frequency control as there is a major improvement on frequency stability.
