The purpose of this diploma thesis is to present Digital Addressable Lighting Interface protocol, DALI interface for controlling electrical ballasts for fluorescent lam pand DALI lighting system.
The thesis presents a simple way how DALI lighting system works, the benefits of DALI system and when do you decide to install DALI lighting system. So the user knows how DALI lighting system is useful in everyday life, both in terms of usability as well as in terms of reducing the cost of electricity consumed for everyday lighting.
Arguments and conclusions are obtained on the basis of the project multimedia classroom, which was carried out within the reconstruction work of, high school in Kočevje.
