Abstract
Opisane so uporabljene tehnologije, orodja in programski jezik. Sledi natančen opis štirih sklopov aplikacije. Vsak izmed sklopov predstavlja določeno funkcionalnost aplikacije.

Title:An application tool for research of the use of new media for teaching of spatial design in primary schools
Abstract:
The BSc thesis presents the development of a special application developed for research on the use of new media in the learning process. The application uses a camera, a computer and a set of special cards with a pattern to enable building with architectural elements in virtual space. It will be used in primary schools in the Art education class. The first part focuses on the use of new media as part of the learning process. The thesis carries on to introducing the term augmented reality, giving also a short history of the concept and of its use in the learning process. The main part of the thesis describes the development of the application in detail, dealing with the used technologies, tools and programming language. This part is followed by a thorough description of the four application areas and their functionality. The final part offers the conclusion that new media would enrich the learning process. Additionally are listed possible improvements of the application.
