Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je predstavljena mobilna aplikacija, namenjena spremljanju rang lestvice Svetovne judo zveze. Poleg rang lestvice so v aplikaciji vidni zadnji rezultati, prihodnja tekmovanja in prijave nanje v moški in ženski članski konkurenci. Mobilna aplikacija črpa podatke iz podatkovnega strežnika preko klicev API. Mobilna aplikacija je izdelana na razvojnem orodju Telerik AppBuilder, ki omogoča izgradnjo hibridnih mobilnih aplikacij za več operacijskih sistemov hkrati, z uporabo tehnologij HTML5 in JavaScript. Mobilna aplikacija uporablja spletne storitve aplikacijskega programerskega vmesnika, ki je bil izdelan vzporedno in aplikaciji posreduje podatke iz podatkovnega strežnika na zahtevo. V diplomski nalogi so opisani razvoj in tehnologije, uporabljene pri izdelavi mobilne aplikacije, arhitekturna zasnova, način posredovanja podatkov preko klicev API, osnovno delovanje podatkovnega strežnika ter algoritem za preračun točkovanja.

Abstract:
The thesis describes a mobile application designed to monitor the IJF World Ranking List. In addition to rankings, the application also shows the latest results, future competitions and competition entries in men’s and women’s senior category. The mobile application receives data from the database server via application programming interface (API) calls. The mobile application is based on the Telerik AppBuilder development tool which allows the development of hybrid mobile applications for several operating systems simultaneously, using HTML5 and JavaScript technologies. The mobile application uses the API’S web services, which has been designed simultaneously and transmits data from the database server to the application on demand. The thesis describes the development and technologies used for designing the mobile application, the architectural design, the method of data transmission via API calls, the basic database server operation and the score calculation algorithm.
