Abstract
Uredba HOS zahteva zmanjšanje emisij hlapnih organskih snovi (HOS), ki nastajajo pri industrijskih dejavnostih. Za doseganje predpisanih vrednosti emisij je potreben prehod na površinske premaze z manjšo vsebnostjo hlapnih organskih snovi. Za doseganje mejnih vrednosti so na voljo: vodni premazi, UV utrjujoči premazi, premazi z visokim deležem suhe snovi, itd. Zamenjava premaza pa privede tudi do potrebe po prilagoditvi opreme ali celo do potrebe po novi. V podjetju Liko Vrhnika d.d., PE Borles smo poizkušali najti najustreznejšo rešitev za zmanjšanje emisij HOS. Ker površinsko obdelujejo že sestavljene stole, je bilo treba za doseganje želene kapacitete proučiti tudi uporabo najnovejše tehnologije. Primerjali smo premaze, ki ustrezajo uredbi HOS, in izbrali najprimernejšega. Predstavili smo tudi opremo, ki je sedaj na voljo za najbolj učinkovito nanašanje premazov, kvalitetno in hitro brušenje laka in hitrejše sušenje premazov. Glede na prednosti in preizkušenost tehnologije v praksi smo izbrali tudi najprimernejšo opremo za površinsko obdelavo in narisali postavitev take linije. Primerjali smo postavljene in dosežene zahteve. Glede na nedoseganje vseh zastavljenih ciljev smo proučili še uporabo manj preizkušene tehnologije, s katero bi izpolnili skoraj vse zahteve in tudi zanjo narisali načrt postavitve.

Title:Technology renovation of paint shop in wood company : univerzitetni študij
Abstract:
The VOC Decree (EU VOC Directive) demands reduction of emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) from industrial activities. To achieve the VOC emissions under the threshold limit values it is necessary to use coatings with less volatile organic compounds. To decrease emissions under the limit values we can use: water-borne coatings, UV coatings, high solid coatings, etc. Switching to new coatings leads us to accommodation of existing equipment or even to need for new equipment. We tried to find the most suitable solutions to reduce VOC emissions in Liko Vrhnika Company, Borles. Because they paint already composed chairs, we had to study application of latest technology to reach the desired capacity. We first compared coatings complying with the VOC Decree, and then we chose the most suitable one. We also presented the available equipment for coating with a higher transfer efficiency, the best quality and fast sanding, and faster coat drying/curing. Regarding the benefits and establishment of a technology in praxis, we chose the most suitable equipment and drew the finishing installation. We compared the demanded properties with the achieved characteristics of the installation. Because all of the expected goals were not achieved, also the less established technology had to be studied to reach all the expectations. The finishing installation using this technology was drawn as well.
