Abstract
Uspešno reševanje oboroženih konfliktov zahteva poznavanje prednosti in slabosti uradnih in neuradnih, torej "drugotirnih" mediatorjev, in usklajenost njihovega delovanja.

Abstract:
Track-two diplomacy is a relatively new phenomenon offering possibilities for more successful conflict resolution. It is to be understood as a set of diplomatic activities undertaken by non-state actors for the peaceful resolution of international conflicts. The following cases of the mediation of non-state actors in armed conflicts are presented: the Oslo Agreement within the framework of the Middle East Peace Process; Tajikistan, between Peru and Ecuador; in Mozambique; and in Indonesia. Protracted and difficult-to-resolve conflicts usually require several mediators which enter into the conflict at different stages or play different roles at the same stage of conflict resolution. For successful conflict resolution, it is necessary to be aware of the comparative advantages and disadvantages of official and track-two mediators. The successful co-ordination of their work is equally important.
