With the development of technical knowledge there is a parallel process of making new terms for it. The article shows a linguistic analysis of PR terminology in two perspectives: (a) in the perspective of application of terminological principles, and (b) in the perspective of interpreting the data about terms extracted from scientific texts (corpus KoRP). Both perspectives are part of every day collaboration of linguists and PR professionals, as they are part of preparations for the issue of Slovenian PR dictionary.
