Abstract
Stop and Go) v ugodnih pogojih izmere, drugi pa dinamično določanje položaja med vožnjo skozi urbano okolje z oteženim sprejemom GNSS-signalov.

Title:Assessment of the quality of kinematic positioning using low-cost GNSS receivers
Abstract:
This thesis investigates the quality of kinematic positioning using a low-cost GNSS system based on the u-blox ZED-F9P receiver and compares its performance with that of the geodetic Leica GS18T system. The study consisted of two experiments. The first experiment involved Stop-and-Go measurements under favourable observation conditions, while the second focused on dynamic positioning during vehicle navigation through an urban environment with obstructed GNSS signal reception. To assess positioning performance, horizontal and vertical errors, the proportions of individual GNSS solution types, and the influence of the urban environment on signal quality were analysed. The results of the first experiment showed that the low-cost GNSS system can achieve positioning accuracy comparable to that of a geodetic receiver under favourable conditions. In the dynamic experiment, the u-blox ZED-F9P system achieved a higher proportion of RTK Fix solutions and, in several cases, lost the Fix solution later and regained it faster than the Leica GS18T system. The analysis also demonstrated that larger discrepancies between the systems are not necessarily a consequence of poorer performance of the low-cost receiver but are, to a considerable extent, related to variations in the quality of the reference solutions. The results indicate that modern multi-frequency low-cost GNSS receivers represent a highly competitive solution for kinematic positioning and can, in many applications, provide a useful and cost-effective alternative to established geodetic systems.
