This diploma thesis presents the conceptual design and implementation process of a
modular glamping accommodation unit, developed in collaboration with the company
Stilles d.o.o. The aim of the thesis was to design a sustainable accommodation unit that
complies with the legal requirements for non-complex structures. The methodology is
based on computer-aided design (CAD) using AutoCAD software, which was utilized
to produce the project documentation. Three hypotheses were evaluated, relating to the
glamping market, spatial and building regulations, and the possibilities of modular
manufacturing. The results confirm that the design, featuring load-bearing crosslaminated
timber (CLT) panels, wood fiber insulation, and a ventilated facade made of
thermally modified spruce, enables efficient space utilization and the integration of
natural and sustainable materials. The modularity analysis revealed that, to ensure
airtightness, the optimal approach is the partial prefabrication of structural assemblies
in the workshop, with the final assembly being carried out on-site.
