In my bachelor's thesis, I addressed the development and use of clothing in the Paleolithic era
and its significance for human survival and adaptation. I began by briefly presenting the basic
characteristics of human evolution, reviewing existing research on the topic and describing the
climate and environment in which the first clothing appeared. In the following sections, I
analyzed archaeological and other indirect evidence regarding the origin, manufacture, and use
of clothing, supported by significant Paleolithic sites yielding tools, fibers, needles, and other
objects related to clothing. In the concluding section, I also focused on depictions of clothing
in Paleolithic art and on a comparison of clothing use among Neanderthals and early modern
humans.
