Abstract
Najprej so predstavljeni osnovni podatkovni viri.

Title:GlobalBuildingAtlas data analysis for Slovenia
Abstract:
This bachelor’s thesis examines the GlobalBuildingAtlas dataset, which represents an open global source of building data. The dataset includes building polygons, building height estimates, and simplified LoD1 models. The aim of the thesis was to assess the usability of GlobalBuildingAtlas data for the Murska Sobota area and its surrounding areas in Slovenia and to evaluate its quality by comparing it with reference data. First, the basic data sources are presented. In the practical part, the data preparation process was carried out in the ArcGIS Pro environment. Before the comparison, the reference data had to be processed, since buildings were often divided into several individual parts. A spatial join between the GlobalBuildingAtlas data and the reference data was then performed, followed by an analysis of differences in building heights and polygon areas. The results showed that, for the analysed sample, building heights in the GlobalBuildingAtlas dataset were on average lower than those in the reference data. In the case of building polygon areas, the differences were more pronounced, with GlobalBuildingAtlas also showing smaller values than the reference data for the analysed area. It was concluded that GlobalBuildingAtlas is mainly suitable for broader spatial analyses, but it is not appropriate as a direct replacement for accurate reference data.
