The final seminar paper focuses on historiography of the painting titled Adoration of the Holy
Cross, which is owned by the Cathedral Parish Office of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in
Koper and is currently located in the depository of the Restoration Center of the Institute for
the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia in Ljubljana, where it has recently undergone
restoration analysis. Due to its poor condition it was often excluded from discussions in the past,
therefore I present in the paper potential solutions to the problems of its location, atribution and
iconography based on a review of older literature and archival sources.
