Abstract
V diplomskem delu sta predstavljena uporaba in testiranje funkcionalnosti programa UnityMol, namenjenega interaktivni tridimenzionalni vizualizaciji ter analizi molekulskih sistemov. Program omogoča napredne in vizualno privlačne načine prikaza, ključen pa je hiperboloidni prikaz (Hyperball). Zmogljivosti UnityMola so ocenjene na treh demonstracijskih primerih s stopnjevanjem zahtevnosti, za katere je pripravljen ponovljiv vizualizacijski protokol. V delu so predstavljene tudi glavne prednosti in omejitve programa s poudarkom na njegovi potencialni uporabi v izobraževalne namene. Tridimenzionalni pristop pripomore k razumevanju prostorske zgradbe molekul in kemijskih vezi.

Title:Visualization of chemical structures using the UnityMol program
Abstract:
This thesis presents the application of UnityMol, a software tool designed for interactive three-dimensional visualization and analysis of molecular systems. The software offers advanced and visually attractive representation modes, prominently featuring the hyperbolic display model (Hyperball). The capabilities of UnityMol were evaluated using three demonstration examples of increasing complexity, with a reproducible visualization protocol developed for each example. The work also presents the main advantages and limitations of the software and highlights its potential for educational purposes, since the three-dimensional approach helps to understand the spatial structure of molecules and chemical bonds.
